Constantine is one of our flagship wines, named for our owner Constantine Alexis Zahoudanis. The percentages vary from vintage to vintage, but it is consistently a GSM. We choose from the cellar the best barrels that will add their strengths to the blend: some treble notes, some bass notes, all blending together into a balanced sound.

92 Points: Based on 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 20% Mourvèdre, the 2022 Cuvée Constantine offers earthy red and black fruits, pepper, saddle leather, and herbes de Provence. Beautifully complex, it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a supple, polished mouthfeel, soft tannins, and outstanding length. Mostly destemmed (8% whole clusters) and aged in just 9% new French oak for 18 months, this beauty will drink well over the coming 7-8 years. Drink 2025-2032. - Jeb Dunnuck
92 Points: This is a very fresh blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre, offering strawberry, cherry and mace aromas on the nose. The palate snaps with a refreshing acidity that enlivens the complex pomegranate, cherry and sagebrush flavors. — Matt Kettmann, Wine Enthusiast
