We often look to the old world for inspiration. While the North Slope is an homage to the northern rhone, the estate syrah is meant to be a showing of the flavors of syrah in Santa Barbara County. The fruit comes off the estate and leans towards bright red fruit with some deeper notes of leather. Of the three syrahs we make, this one is created to be the most straightforward.
